A lesson I learned this year is that a person's capacity for growth is directly linked to how much truth they can face about themselves without running away.

The issue is that too many people think soft skills (public speaking, storytelling, negotiating, small talk, etc.) are intuitive so they take them for granted.

If you schooled in Nigeria please try to re-educate yourself. Take courses, watch Ivy league professors on YouTube, read wide because you most likely have comprehension, communication, and analysis problems.

It takes so long to succeed mostly because you have to learn how much more effort it takes than anything else you've ever done before. And when u start you have no baseline. Effort is against our nature. It's learning to lean into the pain. It's inefficient, but it's how you win.
