Discussion open for comments: Pseudo Rotary Resonance Relaxation Dispersion Effects in Isotropic Samples
mr.copernicus.org
Abstract. Enhanced transverse relaxation near rotary resonance conditions is a well-documented effect for anisotropic solid samples undergoing magic-angle spinning (MAS). We report transverse signal...

When a brush with nature could cause months of pain it’s comforting to know that not only are we looking into the origin of that pain (in this instance the pain caused by our Australian Stinging Plant) but also how we can develop analgesics, or painkillers, without an opioid base

Just reflecting on this ARC EOI process. For me it's taking no less time. I'm struggling to address the criteria in 2 pages - incl. refs. I fear the college will struggle to assess feasibility and inevitably fall back on CV. Don't think that's the intention. Just me? @ARC_Tracker

Structural Basis of the Bivalency of the TRPV1 Agonist DkTx (Mehdi Mobli and co-workers) @MobliLab @AIBNatUQ @UQ_News #openaccess #nmrchat
onlinelibrary.wiley.com
Using protein-splicing, we produced a labelled bivalent capsaicin receptor agonist, DkTx, for NMR characterisation. The structure reveals linker pre-organisation stabilised by interaction between...

Online @NatureComms! Using #NMR, #HDX and #RapidKinetics, we showed induced-fit underlies neurotensin receptor 1 activation by neurotensin peptide! We posit that induced-fit is far more prevalent in #GPCRs than previously thought! https://t.co/7xiCNhkc7V
nature.com
Nature Communications - GPCRs include inactive and active states. 19F-NMR and stopped-flow fluorescence kinetic assays reveal that neurotensin activates the prototypical peptide-binding GPCR,...
