"Pragmatically, understanding an individual's baseline activity and implementing positive changes towards the WHO physical activity guidelines overtime, understanding this time may be largely dependent on the individual, appears to be a way forward for exercise-based practice".
Depending on the pain irritability, complexity of overall presentation, nature of comorbidities etc, it may not be appropriate to apply guidelines designed for general health promotion at a population level. We treat individuals.
