So I’m currently marking the English work I did with my class on Friday and I think I can officially say that, AFTER 7 YEARS, I think I have FINALLY, actually taught children how to punctuate speech!! 🥳😱#IfYouKnowYouKnow

There’s lots of fun to be had on our Key Stage 1 playground! We are so proud to share some of the fantastic equipment and games we provide for the children of St Joseph’s - we love seeing them enjoy them each day ☺️💚

For the first time in literally years (feels like forever) writing is NOT on our school development plan!! I could not have felt prouder when I read that yesterday 🥰 So pleased my time as English lead has ended on a high 🥳

Today my 1st class will get their A Level results and I am desperate to know how they all got on and what they’re going on to do next in their lives! Got me thinking that it would be lovely to have some way for students and teachers to ‘check in’ with each other over the years 🥰

Don’t tell anyone that I have empty shelves in my cupboard - someone will fill them! 🙊
What a week! A stomach bug half way through wasn’t ideal but oh well! Tomorrow is my day to tackle this… I’m moving back to my NQT classroom for September and this cupboard is no where near as bad as when I first tackled it - found work from my own class when I was in yr6 here!
