Anonymous post:.SOS, #edutwitter – has anyone put together a presentation for a trust board on the KS2 Maths SATs papers?. I’m looking for something that clearly breaks down the content and format. If you’ve got anything ready-made, I’d be hugely grateful—could really do with.

I’ve done this before, 8 years ago, and it was rejected (of course).
To add to what @MichaelT1979 has already tweeted about this, here is the full response to my FOI request re: releasing SATs marking scheme.

This Q tipped me over the edge - not allowing the mark for a clearly correct answer (as per the general marking principles available to all of us). The extra markers guidance, however, says not to allow without the vinculum. I’ve submitted an FOI request for this extra guidance.

National GDS % have been released 👇🏼.
National GDS % are out (unusual as they usually don’t release until Oct). 📖 Reading: 33% (highest it’s ever been). ✍️ Writing: 13% (same as last 3 yrs & lowest it’s ever been). 📊 Maths: 26% (2nd highest it’s ever been). 🔡 GPS: 30%. More analysis here:.

Visited @MasefieldCP this morning and oh wow- absolutely BLOWN away. Thank you @andyidone for taking the time to answer all my Qs. They’ve curated such an incredible culture (curriculum, behaviour, wellbeing), the kids were wonderful & the results speak for themselves. Incredible.
