One hard(ish), one easy in a Y5/6 class-pupils working together creating (+explaining) their own gives useful AfL about their understanding of structure - in this case the subtraction algorithm using decimals from @ncetm Curriculum Prioritisation Year 5 unit on Decimal fractions

One of my favourite parts of my job. Teaching. 2 classes today. Reception and Y5. Makes me think, be up to date with my own practice as well as understanding future barriers and next steps. Oh and thanks @NCETM for updating the y5 mastering number resources. Sharp & succinct. š
