1) The Oasis: where gun was purchased is a cafe and store where AR-15’s are displayed like Monet’s at a gallery.
A March 2023 Tribune investigation found that officers responding to the Uvalde shooting were intimidated by the shooter’s military-style rifle.
It drove their decision to wait for a Border Patrol SWAT team to engage him, which took more than an hour.
