First this year's over-the-air release is shipping! Minibits is now sending ecash using much more privacy preserving type of Nostr direct messages (NIP17). Moreover, wallet has another ecash goodie: you can now pay Cashu Payment Requests (creating not yet) Enjoy 2025!

Let's keep the zaps flowing 💦 ! Latest update brings important architectural change: Nostr Wallet Connect commands now run via Android's foreground service. This should allow long streams of zaps to pass more smoothly and you may even see the NWC activity in the status bar 🚀
