Today I spoke to the community about PGCPS' dedication to fostering safe and supportive school environments.

Enjoyed a Harlem Renaissance inspired evening hosted by Taraji P. Henson. Taraji is doing some great work nationwide to promote mental health supports for students in HBCU’s. She’s also a graduate of my school district and continues to give back! .#pgcpsproud

Spent Tuesday morning at MGM National Harbor with 500 talented student service professionals as we prepare for the start of the 2023–24 school year. Let’s go PGCPS! 

Distributed 20,000 backpacks to deserving PGCPS students and families as we prepare for a successful 23–24 school year.
