I got BT to clean up the phone box on Manchester Rd. Just wanted to do a favour for the businesses as it wasn’t fair on them having this filthy thing outside. I have also asked about getting it replaced which I am discussing the Council and fellow Cambridge Ward councillors.

It was an honour to cut the ribbon alongside Abi for the reopening of Sandpipers. It was such an emotional and happy day. You have to meet these wonderful people to see how much it means. Thank you to everyone who canpaigned for respite care in Southport and around the country ♥️

Where will the workers come from in catering, hospitality and agriculture? To require these people to have degrees is just going to lead to higher prices, food shortages and more hotels, bars, pubs and restaurants closing down.
Net migration is down – and we’re going further. By raising Skilled Worker requirements to degree level and cracking down on low-wage overseas hires, we’re ending overreliance on cheap labour and making employers invest in homegrown talent.

Too many people think everyone coming on small boats is illegal. More people need to realise that this is the only way genuine asylum seekers can come in. Talk about smashing the gangs, yes we need a deterrent for illegals but also to cut the demand by issuing humanitarian visas.
