25 years ago today, I began my career in the wide world of radio when I walked into the studios of WBEV-AM 1430 in Beaver Dam, WI, for my first day on the air! I started as a morning news anchor, but before long, I switched to sports play-by-play where I remain to this day.

There is a tradition at the Naples Holiday Shootout. The logos of all the teams are put on the wall in the gym. As teams start losing, their logo is taken down, so that by the last day, only a few remain. As we go to the final day,
