Dry dog food feels a little bit like taking advantage of a dog's indiscriminate nature. Man: Hey, bud, do you want a bowl of dry meat-cereal? Dog: There is no limit to how much I would beg or grovel to attain this. *meat-cereal pouring sounds* Dog: My prayers are answered!

A farmer named Conor had a tractor accident and was thrown into a ditch after being hit by a truck. In court, the trucking company’s fancy hotshot lawyer was questioning him. “Didn’t you say, at the scene of the accident, ‘I’m fine,’?” asked the lawyer. Conor responded, “Well,

If I were Edmund, I don't think I would betray my 3 siblings for Turkish Delight, but it is pretty good. I would probably betray 1 or 2 of them. 3 is a lot, though.

I assume the common misconception that Aslan is an allegorical figure goes back to days before The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was published. Back then, it was a credible claim, but VotDT makes this reality virtually explicit in the text.

If you think Aslan is an allegory for Christ, you disagree with CS Lewis himself. Aslan is a fictional portrayal of Christ. Christ is a recurring character in CS Lewis's fantasy series.

In 1936, Tolkien published a Christmas poem called "Noel" in the annual journal of a Catholic school near Oxford. For about 80 years the text of the poem was lost to history until Wayne Hammond and Christina Scull visited the school and found it in the archives. Here is the poem:

Discussed the origin of Bowser Jr. with the family tonight, and I think I'm leaning towards Bowser being a widower. That feels right somehow.

When 1.5yo wakes up from her nap, 4yo goes to get her. 4yo is on the small side, and she looks so funny carrying her little sister down the hall because 1.5yo is about 75% her size. They both look very sweet.

The whole thing in recent Transformers media where they make Bumblebee's original name B-127 because there are no bees on Cybertron is a ridiculous standard to apply to the characters. What about Sea Spray and Beach Comber? There are no seas or beaches on Cybertron. And Jazz????

Sometimes I feel like people think they can't praise a Nintendo product without disclaiming that it is overpriced. They fear the mob.
Recently got my hands on a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, y’all were right! This thing is overpriced absolutely but it is so COMFORTABLE, genuinely one of the nicest controllers I’ve held Using the sticks feels so smooth, just a great controller. Should be cheaper though.
