Police say they recognise concerns amongst the Island's Jewish community after recent attacks overseas, and says it's taking steps to ensure their safety. Isle of Man Constabulary insists though there is no increased known threat or risk here.

This is true in the Isle of Man. This is not just a foreign problem.
Many Jewish events - here & elsewhere - are organised as follows. You sign up, but aren't told where it will take place until 24 hours before. The reason - to provide as little time as possible for would-be terrorists to scope out the venue & plan an attack. That's how we live.
