I'm proud to be a collaborator with @UTexasMcCombs -- happy birthday!.
Happy 103rd Birthday to @UTAustin's McCombs School of Business, approved as a separate school by the Board of Regents on July 12, 1922. All of its undergraduate programs are top-10 ranked, and its MBA program is the third oldest on the planet, behind Harvard and NYU. (Photo 1962)

More of this national collaboration, please.
Thanks to the @CAgovernor for sending K-9 teams to Texas. The quick response from many states was crucial in our rescue & recovery efforts.

One of the reasons I'm really excited about autonomous ride providers (Robotaxis, Waymo, Zoox. ) is the ability to avoid the overpowering "air fresheners" and personal fragrances that human-driven vehicles include.
Air quality is the most underrated feature of the Robotaxi. So many Ubers have terrible air quality. It is so nice to be able to breathe.

Nothing says you hate socialism quite like implementing an agenda of state-owned enterprises and having the gov't own the means of production.
Quick post on this one: DoD just took a $400M equity stake in MP Materials - making them the largest shareholder in a public company to secure rare earth independence from China. This is a step above prior govt intervention (grants, loans, etc.). This is direct state ownership of

Absolute conspiracist clowns are running the show. Contrails? They are “condensation trails”. They form behind plane engines when water vapor from combusting jet fuels condenses because it is cold at high altitudes.
Americans have questions about geoengineering and contrails. They expect honesty and transparency from their government when seeking answers. For years, people who asked questions in good faith were dismissed, even vilified by the media and their own government. This ends today.

Many thanks to @Cmdr_Hadfield for including me on his show for a discussion about energy. This was a fun convergence for me of my two passions--space and energy. Please check it out. #FutureOfEnergy.
Where does your power really come from? Episode 2 of On Energy with @Cmdr_Hadfield gives the answers. With expert Dr. Michael Webber, learn how energy gets from the grid to your home and what’s next. #OnEnergy #ChrisHadfield @MichaelEWebber

Coal for power = dated, dirty and pricey. Coal for products = good idea.
Trump and @SecretaryWright are pushing coal for grid reliability. But 50 years of policy meddling teaches that government efforts to prop up coal for energy don't work well. But coal for products? That's appealing. @ASMEdotorg.

It doesn’t make any sense. Unless the goal is to shrink the economy and hobble American competitiveness.
"Energy dominance" agenda:.-50% copper tariff.-Steel & aluminum tariff.-Restrictive FEOC for new power plants.-$15bn of US gas turbines to Saudis.-Punitive tax treatment for solar/wind.-Offshore wind moratorium.-New coal subsidy.

International collaboration is good. More of this, please.
ICYMI: Yesterday, DOE extended a commitment to collaborate in hydropower research and development with Norway’s Royal Ministry of Energy. This will further efforts to reduce energy costs, strengthen grid reliability and security, and unleash American energy innovation.
