Similar setup to yesterday, storms will begin to develop during the mid afternoon hours. Storm motion will be eastward. Stronger storms could have 45-55 mph wind gusts, with isolated severe winds possible. Activity will begin to decrease during the early evening hours.

Although Erin should stay offshore, we will likely have *indirect* impacts, in the form of hazards along the Atlantic. Rip currents and rough surf are expected along Florida's Atlantic coast next week! #FLwx.
As #Erin becomes a formidable hurricane over the western Atlantic, the Bahamas Archipelago will shield our waters & beaches from most of the wave action associated with the storm. Still, surf & rip current risk may become elevated on our northern east coast beaches next week.
