Thanks to @DianeDoddsMLA & @petermartindup for meeting with us today and discussing next steps and actions. Our sector needs to be respected and supported. The voice of people with learning disability needs to be heard!!
Thanks @petermartindup @DianeDoddsMLA for meeting groups impacted by DOH core grants process. 259 groups applied for a piece of £1.8m. 25 groups successful. No carer groups funded. Some charities will cease altogether due to this loss of funding, others will reduce services.
