In 1985, the city was so quiet that even on Saturday nights McGillin’s closed at 8 pm. In 2024, at 8 pm the PARTY is just getting started! We stay open until 2 am on Saturdays and EVERY night of the week!

We toast Catherine "Ma" McGillin on what would have been her 173rd birthday. She was born in 1846 & died in 1936. Ma & William "Pa" McGillin ran

& raised their 13 children upstairs. She ruled over the bar after his death even through Prohibition. She died at age 89-1/2
