I made a 1m wingspan flying wing RC airplane that prints in a single Form 4L build in just a few parts. Print-in-place, flexural control surfaces for improved aerodynamics and reduced assembly. It actually survived 2 flights! 3rd one ended because of an unfortunately placed

I want to share a lot of what I learn in Ukraine back here. What do you want to see? What questions would you ask if you were there? Who would you want to meet?
Next month, I’ll be traveling to Ukraine to meet the incredible community using 3D printers to heal, rebuild and defend their country. This is personal for me, as both of my parents grew up in Ukraine, though I’ve never been there before. For nearly four years, Ukraine’s

I really enjoy procedural generation, especially systems designed to work with hardware outputs. After starting work at Formlabs in September of 2023 and gaining access to much nicer printers than I...

All of these comments supporting mega pay packages are absurd as they suggest that 100% of the value creation was done by the CEO. What was everyone else at the company doing? A great company has many people in top leadership that could be excellent CEOs in their own right. Let
Jeff Bezos is worth $238 billion, even though Amazon has a $2.6 trillion market cap. In other words, he’s created $2.4 trillion of value for other shareholders—plus trillions more for employees, customers, suppliers, governments, and other stakeholders. Jensen Huang is worth

This is accurate. A tariff policy that would promote manufacturing would be mostly opposite of the one implemented. Tariffs should be lowest on raw input materials like aluminum and steel and highest on finished goods like consumer electronics. Instead, we have special high

Using it as a CMM is the killer app for industrial x-ray CT machines. Great to see the team @lumafield make this happen.
Replacing CMMs has been on the punch list for a long time here @lumafield. I'm pretty stoked to launch our latest capability: Automated GD&T!

Alternative view: the numerous US space startups that have blown billions without getting to orbit would have been better off copying more from SpaceX
I have a lot of respect for the capabilities of Chinese engineers. But I do wonder if a lot of their designs are gatekept by managers who insist they reproduce what's known to work and can only evaluate whether their engineers have met that criteria based on superficial

This guy is amazing. He owns a 76ft yacht a Bentley and this mansion in NJ. He's been tried twice for being a mobster. He also thought it was a good idea to make an official statement endorsing Trump bombing Iran. https://t.co/oAFrqB5xCf

@MaxLobovsky It's violently critical that people understand this. The average naive response of screaming "industrialize" as a warcry, as if before "we just weren't feeling like it", will lead directly to an increment of what caused the problem in the first place: regulation.

*Cancel electricity generation projects while rates are climbing *Cut immigration *Lower interest rates *Raise tariffs *Continue large deficit spending A recipe for crazy inflation
Hot take: Canceling a 6 gigawatt solar farm is an extremely dumb thing to do when electricity rates are skyrocketing
