Much-loved Woogenellup farmer Mark Adams has been named as the 62-year-old man who went missing off Albany’s coast on Tuesday while fishing, with his family writing a moving tribute after his disappearance - with @newbs63 https://t.co/jC9mJIuBjD

This is indeed sad news. #MarkAdams was a champion - he put his shoulder to the wheel on many important WA agricultural issues. He spoke truth boldly and was many times an inspiration to many. We will miss him - love to Heather and the rest of his family ❤️❤️

Excellent article and @curryja has been a steadfast champion in this arena since the beginning. At much personal cost.

Official GPA Levy Review shows that around 80% of WA grain growers support: (1) a reduction in the GRDC levy; and (2) more regular, grower-informed adjustments to the GRDC levy. https://t.co/eWA3vYgLAZ

Yes, agriculture is close to a gross value of 100bn - but that's not the important factor. The margin is what is important.

While the @GrainProducers survey was a bit cumbersome and the question loaded (nobody supports an increase in the PHA levy) the results are in. We want a levy reduction!

Almost all of Australia's emissions reductions have come from taking productive farmland and converting it to unmanaged scrub for pests and weeds to spread. Net zero has been an environmental disaster on top of an economic one too.

It is impossible to respect these over paid second rate bozos. The age ban is bad policy, poorly executed and now bureaucrats can make stupid arbitrary decisions at the drop of a hat. If you are not furious with Albanese and Ley, you're not watching.

The best is the enemy of the good. Contrary to recent press speculation, the draft 28-point plan for peace in Ukraine is in fact a reasonable basis for negotiations. Journalists can gripe about it as they griped about the 20-point Gaza plan. But wars are not ended by op-eds. 1/5
