I actually avoid a ton of movies and shows with realistic violence because I like life better without horrible nightmares. I also watch older things with gross but janky violence, but people are complicated. I love Orwell, but maybe itโs OK to skip a classic or two.
one time i tried to read 1984 and 3 pages in the protagonist was talking about raping a woman i just put the book down after that i don't really care
