It's not athletes being lazy, we've failed as coaches. We get so focused on "making the tweak" that we forget that building the physical foundation to allow your body to handle being pushed in the way pitching demands is just as critical to your success as your mechanics.

I've seen young musicians cancel outdoor gigs in the cold because they were worried about the wood warping in their $500 instrument. But I see young pitchers roll up to the park a half hour before a cold fall ball game, get a jog in, and head to start their bullpen session
