I’m really please to share our latest work published in the Journal of Natural Products @pharmacognosy. It’s an interesting story of how careful NMR data analysis can point to subtle structural alterations that have big effects on biological activity.

I'm really excited to see this work in its published form and thank the co-authors, editor, and reviewers. There's been a lot of mystery surrounding Trichodesmium specialized metabolites and we've uncovered quite a bit of it here. But still more questions!

Please check out a new preprint from our lab and our collaborators. Pretty cool story on specialized metabolites from an important cyanobacterial group and a little something for everyone: mass spec, lots of structure elucidation, biosynthesis, chemical ecology, and cultivation.
