Navigating the rental market during the research, I saw many newcomers who desperately posted on social media to secure a place to live. EVERY year at this time, before starting the fall semester and the new arrival of intl students, the housing insecurity exacerbates.

My thesis on intl student housing at @MemorialU also underlines urban mobility/transport challenges, limited on-campus housing capacity, food insecurity, and unaffordability and unsuitability of mandatory meal plans in some St. John's campus residences.
