Loved this webinar so recommend watching the recording when available. I’m fascinated by the topic of how to scale innovations with government so was excited to join, but didn’t expect to learn as much as I did! Great range of panellists who all shared really practical insights

Last day to apply for these interesting roles with a great organisation, that really cares, not just about ‘what’ but about ‘how’ it works and engages in the world

I was really pleased to work with @VillageReach on this last year, as part of my work as an independent consultant, reflecting on OpenLMIS’ journey towards sustainability. The report has lots of useful insights for other global goods, and anyone on the quest to sustainability!

OpenLMIS is one of the first global health goods to transition to a more sustainable model. We’ve learned a lot about planning for sustainability, goal setting in the context of market gaps, and when to pursue private partnerships. Read more: https://t.co/2w7aDSL0YH

Am starting a new supervisee work relationship and as ever returning to these great questions for a first 1-to-1 from @lara_hogan. My favourite is "What makes you grumpy?" and "How will I know when you are grumpy?"

Choice is so important in health, but sometimes seems to be sidelined in global health. I shared my thoughts here, inspired by a great blog from @KatriBertram #globalhealth

Great case study from @VillageReach showing how Journey to Scale with Government tool can be applied. Captures challenges on the way, but shows how deep collaboration between government and partners enabled successful scale and transition to government

Fascinating @LSEGlobalHealth event on reframing Health for all as investment rather than cost. Love @MazzucatoM comment on need to focus on problem to be solved & re-shape how public policy is made, rather than developing health, industrial policy, etc in isolation #LSECOVID19

The more I learn about inequitable Covid vaccine distribution the angrier I get, and then the UK and others are also blocking the call for IP waivers to enable more countries to manufacture vaccines. I agree there should be global outcry - why is this getting so little coverage?

There should be global outcry that this handful of countries are blocking other countries from being able to manufacture COVID-19 vaccines and medical tools

Really good article - shows that the desire to adhere to restrictions is high, and very often it is the structural barriers that prevent people from doing so

While blaming rule-breakers is satisfying & easy, "psychologising and individualising the issue of adherence, one disregards the structural factors which underlie the spread of infection." This is a great article by @ProfJohnDrury @ReicherStephen (22/n) https://t.co/JohEZyMh9v

With @SpringImpact I've loved working with @MSIchoices Zambia to embed the Diva Centre principles into the public sector. Great piece from @IDEOorg on how their work has evolved over time, with a focus on sustainability and systems change. https://t.co/Ghqqrozr5c via@SSIReview

An interesting, but depressing, read. If the point is to innovate and then scale, but big NGOs won’t scale solutions created by social entrepreneurs, or are implementing projects that won’t let them, it’s such a wasted opportunity

“If replication by NGOs isn’t a promising route to scale, well, that’s scandalous.” @mulagostarr (@MulagoFound) reflects on the absence of effective #scaling via big NGOs and calls on them to double down on supporting social entrepreneurs. #impact

Too often, government priorities are not front and center when developing solutions to be sustained at scale. A new tool lays the foundation for radically collaborating with government on the #JourneytoScale. https://t.co/GgsCdS8K13 @VillageReach @SpringImpact @jpmoogy1
