Important paper alert! This should change the way we run experiments that measure reactions to social categories perceived as visible, such as gender, age and ethnicity.
📢 A new paper w/ Marco Radojevic is now out in @PolBehavior Does learning political candidates’ social categories through visual (vs. text) cues affect voter preferences? We run a visual and a text conjoint and find the answer is: yes. https://t.co/l7fUE43FVW

This argument is flourishing with two underlying assumptions: 1) RN will win 2) RN will be incompetent and hence lose on the long term - let's assume they are both correct (not certain). This long-term rational take needs to consider policy implications of a RN govt on short term
Macron’s list might lose, of course, in which case the scenario is a three year cohabitation with Jordan Bardella as PM. Given the incompetence of Bardella and the RN leadership in general, Macron’s calculation seems to be that this will damage the party while in government 6/n
