Don’t forget about developing pitches and command to name a few.

Attention 9u teams. Every kid should learn or work at every position if possible anyway. Good plentiful pitching beat good hitting 9x out 10.
How to be a great Little League pitching coach:
Teach EVERYONE on your team to pitch and get them innings in the season. It doesn’t matter if you lose every game.
Side benefit: by the time playoffs roll around, you’ll have the best pitching depth in the league.

Velo and speed numbers are a must.
Take away the radar guns.
Get outs, average, era, throw strikes?, baseball IQ, good attitude? dugout player? Leader? Good hands? Footwork? Coachable? Pressure?
Numbers get scouts there but all the other stuff is what keep them coming back.

Pitchers as you get older and develop and get stronger…throwing harder etc, know this… that their are hitters doing the same thing. Baseball gets harder on both sides of the field. Continue to grind.
