I have decided that when I run the country, cheese and onion cobs (not rolls, baps or any other nonsense), will be made mandatory in all pubs. Those in favour, please raise your hand now.

Pubs are everything politicians hate. People enjoy themselves. They meet and talk with friends. They relax and are not producing. In pubs, there is no tolerance for bullshit, pretence, or gaslighting. In pubs, people are truly equal. That’s absolute politician kryptonite.

@robert_lyman I have come to the belief that subsequent govts want to destroy pubs in England. They are the best way of allowing people to meet others outside their walks of life, and help a society run amicably along. Destroying the pub culture is a direct attack on democracy IMO.

The book is still available to buy and at the bargain price of £20. Treat yourself. Treat someone you love. Treat someone you don't like but who hates seaweed. Its a sensual treat for tired eyes. After browsing it for an hour you'll feel uplifted, at peace with the world.

'Kelp' the book is here and available to buy. I'm not sure that its a book that will ever get made into a film, but if you do fancy a book about the understated beauty of seaweed, the link to buy it is is underneath. https://t.co/wlF2KZe2e9

That’s quite enough AI dross for today, I shall return in the morning to see if there are any indications of reality. I’m not particularly hopeful 🤦‍♂️

Here’s filmmaking at full throttle, long before drones and camera cars made everything safe and tidy. To capture the speed and soul of motorcycles, crews did it the hard way: perched on the back of a BMW, braced against the wind, filming with a heavy 16mm camera while the rider
