Americans in the 1800s didn't have to worry about ballistic missiles being able to hit every inch of their territory. Ukraine must hold elections as soon as possible, only when there is a stable peace negotiated with their involvement.

Someone needs to tell Musk that the only two elections the US held when there was active fighting in America was 1812, where the British were not actively fighting America yet, and 1864 where Congress invalidated the electoral college votes in Louisiana and Tennessee.
Zelensky cannot claim to represent the will of the people of Ukraine unless he restores freedom of the press and stops canceling elections!.
