Among the teams I have confirmed are still in for MLB Phenom Shohei Ohtani: Dodgers Cubs Blue Jays Angels This isn’t an exclusive list, others still remain in. These are just the ones I know are still in the mix.
Sources: Ohtani sweepstakes are moving along and the Texas Rangers and at least one team in the AL East has dropped out. Teams who feel they aren’t real players are beginning to take themselves out of talks.

Mets should be all over Sandy Alcantara this winter. He’s making $17.3M in 2026 with a $21M club option for 2027. Marlins have shown willingness to trade within division in December when they dealt Jesús Luzardo to Philadelphia.

NPB has just released an official app, NPB+. It contains some Trackman data such as max exit velocity and bat speed, which was not public before, as well as a modernized UI and Gameday. Major development despite no official announcement on its release so far.
