GA counties, SOS, and St. Elec. Bd. did nothing to improve their failure to provide ballot secrecy. The post below is still important. How many Nov. 2024 voters couldn't vote their true choice? (Most posts now on @marilynrmarks.bsky.social.)
GA officials trample voters' rights to a secret ballot forcing public touchscreen voting publicly displaying votes. Help stop this deplorable practice. @CoalitionGoodGv request for St. Elec. Bd. to make new rules. ➡️ https://t.co/ppXRSNg9Qt Please help...1/

3/ The bipartisan co-petitioners include: Salleigh Grubbs @1stVCGAGOP
@dufort_jeanne (Chair. Morgan Dems) Mike St. Louis (DeKalb voter) They approached this with precision and nonpartisan goals. They succeeded. Now tell SEB to vote "YES."

2/ The rule is a definition for both terms to help officials decide when it's necessary to go to back-up paper ballots counted by scanner rather than using the touchscreens to mark votes. The 30 day period will allow public and lawmaker input. Please support this logical rule.

4/ No one should want to repeat the mess that was created in 2020, nor permit the illegitimate "short-cuts" taken by the SOS, that undercut the credibility of the process. Continuing such processes doesn't serve any party--only chaos.

This festering wound of GA's 2020 election is not likely to heal until both D's & R's agree to a process that would deal with the facts, and seek solutions. Both "sides" are misguided and fueled by partisan positions, not facts, that could actually create future improvement. 1/

This!👇In today's polarized politics elections demand fair, trustworthy processes. It's encouraging to see bipartisan support for hand marked paper ballots - the most secure and reliable way to record votes. Please read this excellent oped from opposing party leaders in GA.
"Most days, we’re political frenemies. Election season? We scrap like cats in a sack...." Read the entertaining, but important BIPARTISAN (!!) op-ed on securing the 2026 election. Then, write the St. Elec. Bd. with your support. hcoan@seb.ga.gov ⬇️

Indeed this is good news! This pilot can benefit all voters and candidates by having an evidence-based election which can truly be audited. Can help GA prepare for Hand Marked Ballots in 2026, demonstrating the security and audit-worthy nature of such elections!
I have some good news this morning! Victor Anderson, Chairman of House Government Affairs, and Tim Fleming, Chairman of the Blue Ribbon Study Committee on Election Procedures have written to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to ask him to consider getting on board with the

4/ Fervier has led the St. Elec. Bd. in refusing to adopt any rules to require security incidents, unauthorized software access, etc. to be reported by counties. He has led board to repeatedly ignore election security. Although they should outvote him and do the right thing!

2/ St. Elec. Bd. had @jhalderm report (below) proving QR code manipulation risk since July 2021, then sealed. Fervier, a defendant in our Curling case, did not refute the QR code evidence in court. SEB expert agreed with Halderman. Now Fervier insists there's no evidence???
