The Republicans who lined up with Trump in the Texas case are either cowards or worse: those who reject the foundation of a democracy that losers concede after a fair election. We had a fair election, despite what Trump and his supporters say.

Imagine being the lawyers tasked with coming up with ridiculously unsupported theories and evidence to try to call the election into question. Would have to be pretty shameless and not care about the health of our democracy.

Twitter apparently just shut down Trump's access to @POTUS account. Screenshot:

This is, by a mile, the very best editorial word choice comment I have ever received from law review editors. Full stop.

And there’s the problem with this White House. There’s no way of knowing for sure if it’s incompetence or mendacity.

If you are asking: "Why should we make it easy for *these* people to vote?", you're doing democracy wrong

I find much solace in the fact that not just the Supreme Court, but courts across the nation, with both Democratic and Republican judges, held the line for the rule of law. This is something really to celebrate as I’ve said.

Lots of folks don't seem to understand that the Supreme Court, even if it ruled in Trump's favor, would be dealing with ballots that almost certainly will make no difference to the count in Pennsylvania for President.

So the president is quoting Ken Starr about the PA Supreme Court usurping the power of PA Legislature. EVEN IF TRUMP TOOK THIS SUIT TO SCOTUS AND WON, IT WOULD NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS RACE'S OUTCOME. These ballots have not been counted and play no role now.

But GOP legislators do not “seat” electors at all.

Recording a podcast about Brnovich and getting angrier and angrier. What a horrible, disingenuous opinion by Justice Alito for the Court.

Just watching on Fox News this replay of Trump’s comments lying extensively about fraud in the election. This is false, disgraceful, and dangerous for future of our country. At least he says that “certainly” he will leave office when Congress finds Biden wins Electoral College.

Clinton campaign repeatedly warned that some of the docs could be altered/forgeries. Didn't stop reporting for a second.
