There’s a hunger crisis in our country, and it’s impacting children. This shouldn’t happen to any child or family. Congress needs to pass the American Rescue Plan, which addresses the hunger crisis and gets relief to those Americans who need it.
This is heartbreaking. America is facing an unprecedented hunger crisis. The American Rescue Plan includes measures with bipartisan support to attack this crisis head on. We need action now.

I really believe now is the time for @WorldAthletics to roll out live in-race biometric data. Give us athlete’s HR, ventilation, sweat rate, cadence, whatever you got! Instead of ‘did you see how fast X ran?’ We can say, ‘holy shit they ran that 10km with a 190 ave HR’
So help me God - I waded into the super-shoe debate again. https://t.co/4fNA9xDXvr

A 6-year old ballet student asked me today if I'm excited about getting my "Fauci Ouchie" soon, and I will now be referring to the covid-19 vaccine as only that, because it's the cutest thing ever.

Prioritizing athlete vaccinations would pit our communities against us and our worth as athletes is only as strong as our standing in the community. We lose them we lose our value. Thank you @theXCorg for the platform to write out my thoughts! https://t.co/kkeQ74YrhC

Christmas isn't just a 1 day thing—it's a season that lasts until Epiphany. The feast continues. In a world of rapidly changing trending topics, we move on too fast to the next thing. As Rolheiser has said "Our society knows how to anticipate an event but not how to sustain it."

We have a lot of hard work ahead, but if we do this together with patience and with empathy, I truly believe that the COVID vaccine will be the most important science communication project for building public trust in science in our lifetime. Let’s go!
