Examples: Imperial Assault has been a hit, but keeping track of all the components through a campaign is a headache. Gloomhaven was too esoteric. SW Rebellion was ok, but he didn't quite grasp strategy and needed someone to read stuff to him. Memoir '44 was ok (too dry/grounded?)

What good ameritrash is out there? Looking for games that: 1. Are combat/action focused 2. Aren't 2+ hours long with tons of setup 3. Have very little or no english language skills required 4. Aren't crazy heavy or punitive 5. Not dry or historical.

I have confirmed that @squarespace is either: 1. Lying to me. 2. Somehow technically incapable of pushing through a domain transfer. 3. Deliberately holding my domain in limbo for multiple days to.....convince me to stay with them out of frustration? IDK. This is absurd.
I don't like going to social media to complain, but my website is going to be down for about 10 days because of @squarespace's stupidly long customer support wait times and general incompetence. Why is there no way to push through a domain transfer? Why do I have to wait 5 days?

Gandalf: Frodo, Caradhras has defeated us. Would you rather take the One Ring by the Gap of Rohan through a land where Saruman has spies everywhere or attempt to pass through the mines of Moria where the dwarves woke the nameless fear, Durin’s Bane? Frodo:

“Guys, you’re still trying to replace the Eagles. I told you we can’t do that. Now what we might be able to do is re-create them in the aggregate. Frodo can carry the Ring, but can’t walk 1,700 miles. This is Samwise Gamgee, he can’t carry the Ring, but he can carry Frodo.”

“Elrond, this is Merry and Pippin, they’re hobbits. They are two of the most undervalued people in middle earth. These guys should cost a thousand silver pennies each. We can get them for a second breakfast”

The Moneyball/LotR mashups all over my timeline are the best thing I've seen on this website in years.

I don't know if Killers of the Flower Moon is S-tier Scorsese, but it's gripping, feels only 2 hours long, and has some truly great performances. De Niro plays one of the evilest characters I've ever seen and Gladstone is perfect.

Every time Martin Scorsese is trending, it's because people are mad at him for being absolutely correct.

Related: my favorite 180 degree rule break is in the opening scene in Inglorious Basterds, where it's used to further create a sense of uneasiness and unnaturalness. It also brings another physical part of the room to attention, which is important to the conversation.
