Not to do Transformeres revisionism but between that Rise of the Beasts clip and the entirety of Quantumania, why do directors forget that if you're gonna have beeg characters, put some recognizable objects, such as a bunch of trees, on screen so we can see the scale.
i don't disagree that some of the Bay action scenes devolve into junkyard fights, but when they're at their best they at least incorporate practical, real world pyrotechnics and locations instead of fighting in a buttfuck ugly CGI wasteland. look how much more impact this has:
