I have grudgingly come to accept the popularity of vertical video - but this UI in iOS 26 (not iOS 19!) needs to be changed. Surely that frame rate/resolution picker should rotate to landscape as it does in iOS 18 & not be locked as if still in portrait?

Over on Thr3ads, the boss of Instagram @mosseri has announced Edits - a free video editing app, out in late Feb/early March. The photos in the App Store listing make it look promising with a big BUT. The inbuilt camera only records at 24/30/60fps - not ideal outside North America
