Here is your regular reminder that contributing to #ManyBabies does not mean you need to be able to test babies, there's so much more to a large scale collaborative project, or any research, so browse the website, join lists / slack, and be part of the fun

This project was accomplished by a team of 74 researchers in 21 labs across 9 countries #teamworkmakesthedreamwork. Each group ran the exact same study protocol with their local dog population, testing dogs from all different breeds and training backgrounds (2/4)

These issues are relevant for any research endeavor (yes, I boldly claim that solo science is, at best, extremely rare), but big team science really throws a spot light on our inability to properly deal with team efforts Cc @BigTeamSciCon @Many_Babies

Our paper on "Team Infrastructure Roles" is now out! https://t.co/KTBp4xA06O What are TIRs? We define TIRs as specialists who support research, but are outside the typical job positions associated with being a "researcher", like grad student, postdoc, faculty. /1
