Excellent advice from @carmenbott . Small turns of the screw. You don't have to make drastic changes in order to drive improvements and adaptations.

Testable Hypotheses: Athletes who engage in a spectrum of accentuated eccentric activities, which expand the repertoire of landing ability, are able to perform change of direction drills better than athletes who focus solely on methods to improve jump height.#SAC7200.

So sad. This man was the reason I got into strength and conditioning in the first place. True legend.
All at Newcastle Falcons are deeply saddened to learn of the death of our friend and former colleague, Steve Black. Blackie, you were a true one-off. A Falcons legend who will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

Such a great graphic and something that comes in handy in relation to the timing of implementing certain exercises in relation to sport specific demands.
As you program and train, having an understanding of how each exercise places demands and stress on the body is crucial. Not all exercises are created equal 📊. This graph from Charlie Francis and @DerekMHansen is a great visual.

Couldn’t agree more with @rich_blagrove. Since 2001, I have struggled when someone utters this phrase. Great paper.
