1n 1984, the Kenya armed forces raided Wajir District in NE Kenya. In an operation that began on 9 Feb, and ended on 14 Feb, 1984, the forces killed over 3000 men from Wajir at Wagalla Airstrip. No one has ever been prosecuted for this crime to this day.
