My timeline fills up with people hating NIL, and I donāt understand. Should we have better defined rules? Absolutely. Should players make $ when coaches/admin are making comfortable and often heafty salariesā¦.ummmm yes. If NIL kills locker rooms what happens in Pro Sports?!?

Whatās the important trait to being a GREAT Coach? Knowledge? Experience? Moxie? For me the list starts with being a great listener and is quickly followed by being relationship focused! Listen and then care!

Save the boring weighted carries, pallof presses and planks for adults...under 12U should be sprinting, jumping, throwing, crawling, climbing and rolling. Stop adultifying kids training programs, they get enough of that in youth sports. It doesn't show expertise by making kids do

Most players and parents want exposure, but those that chase BOTH exposure and accountability are the ones who have success. Learning from failures & focusing on deficiencies help you reach your goals! Per the usual: baseball reflecting real life!

Every time a Game 7 rolls around, Iām reminded of another Game 7. 2016 World Series. Game 7. Indians vs. Cubs. Being that I didnāt start the game, I didnāt know when Iād get an at-bat. But I did know that when I didā¦ - My breath was my anchor. - My self-talk was my weapon. -

The biggest thing Iāve learned over my 20 years in baseball is that relationships matter most. Those who are successful in the industry care about relationships above all else. Itās a special corner of the world that I have been so blessed to be in!

Hereās a fun idea for Travel Orgs: 12u and Younger - Year Round Program where you build athletes - play 3 to 4 different sports through the year with the same āteamā. Baseball, Flag Football, Basketball and Soccer! Train athletes not robots!
