“I used AI to make this video of Boba Fett fighting Freddy Krueger. Took me 10 minutes.” Cool! I’ve been watching those characters for 40 years, and swiped immediately past your video. Took me 1 second.

Famously, human learning takes *very little* energy. A toddler learns thousands of words and an entire grammar while eating nothing but raspberries, before learning to read. An LLM needs a nuclear reactor and the entire internet as a training corpus.

Two things are true here: 1) This is terrible. 2) It’s actually much better than the real final battle. What a terrible indictment of how far this show fell off.
Trying to Fix Stranger Things Finale Battle Episode 2: Will, Eleven, Eight vs Vecna made with Seedance 2.0 Should I continue to finish the story?

I asked @RobertIrvine if he would title his potato cooking advice as “The Choices of Master Samwise” and he told me to stop being such a dork.
I was happy to contribute to this Chowhound piece about how to make the best baked potatoes. There's a little more that goes on with baking the perfect potato than you might realize. Check it out!

Wherever this weekend finds you, I hope it brings good food, good people, and a little time to recharge. Be grateful for all of it. Or, as the late, great Warren Zevon said, "Enjoy every sandwich."
