Just got home and found out I have 3 very sad grand kids. Someone in their neighborhood shot their cat at close range with a BBgun and the cat had to be put down. 🥲 This cat was special & would follow the kids down the street when they would visit their friends. Evil Exists 🤬

Last month I entered my side table into the Orange County Fair, I went down today to see it displayed. I got 1st place in contemporary furniture. Built from solid walnut, w/ an oil and wax finish. Floating top and mortise and tenon joints, and tapered legs.🪚😀

When I was a kid we lived in a three bedroom house with no AC. In the summer time we slept with the windows open on top of the sheets. Then one day my Dad brought home a used swamp cooler. We were in high cotton then. 1300 sq feet of good living w/ a stay at home mom.

Today is the anniversary of my sister’s death. This picture was taken 12 mos before, age 12. I’m not sad today, but I am filled with a hope and a faith that I will see her again. From diagnosis to death was 3 months. She was beautiful. My parents were examples of faith to me.

I have one chicken who has been ostracized by her sisters, they attack her and won’t let her eat in peace, so I gave her, her own little coop and nursed her back to health. All her feathers came back and she is living the life. Wherever I am in the backyard she is close by.😀

My Son & I built this 55 Chevy when he was in high school. It took us 4 years, but it was worth it. Teenage boys don’t always want to hang out with Dad, but this helped get through those years. PS, nothing has ever been in that bed of African Mahagony wood except this princess.
