We have ended our 2nd day of field work in karamoja with inspection of works at Nakonyeni dam in moroto. Works here stand at over 80% completion. The dam when completed, will have capacity of 2million cubic metres of water. It will serve livestock,irrigation & mitigate floods.

With @PS_MAAIF & our @MAAIF_Uganda team,we are in Karamoja for a 3 day inspection/ monitoring mission of various water for production projects. We started with inspecting works at USAKE dam in Kaabong . Works here stand at about 95% completion & handover will be jan 2026.
