Tomatoes are one of the most consumed vegetables in Ugandan households. They are widely used for cooking, eaten fresh in salads and processed into tomato juices.

In 2024, value chain development efforts enabled Uganda to export 604 metric tons of Vanilla worth USD 16.6 million, a remarkable increase from 266 metric tons in 2023, maintaining our position as the second-largest global producer. #VanillaUG #AgricultureUG

Vanilla harvest: The recommended harvest window for season B of 2025, as announced through the media by Hon. @FredBwino, will run from December 29, 2025 to March 29, 2026. Farmers are urged to harvest only mature beans to maintain quality. #VanillaUG #AgricultureUG
