A great read about the quiet revolution happening among Black families. Urban public school systems are guilty of a moral failure to educate Black and brown children. Taking matters in their own hands, homeschooling is a good bet. Learn the reasons why. #BlackFAMILY
"Perceived unintelligence manifests in well-intentioned woke ideology. Black parents are faced w/ schools that are lowering standards for their children. Efforts to lower standards to achieve equity are based, broadly speaking, in CRT." —@conniemmorgan ⬇️ https://t.co/uYuq6I0Ty6

Would you let your wife walk by herself or even with friends from Harbor East to Camden Yards for a 7pm game?
President Bone Spurs will do anything to get out of walking – even if that means spouting off more lies about the progress we’re making on public safety in Maryland. Hey Donald, we can get you a golf cart if that makes things easier. Just let my team know.

Why can’t there be a big announcement like this in the education sector. I’m waiting for a AI agent for every student to evaluate assessment data and shape individualized learning plans. #educationandai

#gildedage I’m fascinated by this series. The characters are richly drawn, full of contradictions. But when Jack -the footman inventor-sells his clock for a fortune, I cried. I always cry when people defy the odds.

Wow. So grateful for this guy. “I much rather be a great father than a great golfer”. Must listen.
"I love being able to play this game for a living. It's one of the greatest joys of my life, but does it fill the deepest wants and desires of my heart? Absolutely not." All-time five minutes here from Scottie. Must watch stuff.

Arizona families are lucky to have tax credit donations for years. School choice is alive and well in Arizona. The federal dollars will open more doors for families. #schoolchoice
Democrats’ School Choice Dilemma The Medicaid expansion put GOP governors in a tough spot. Republicans have flipped the script. https://t.co/pvCWkdyjBB

As Trump promises a 50% tariff on copper imports and copper prices surge, Ivanhoe Electric plans to build the first big copper mine in more than a decade. If I were 23, I would contact the CEO of Ivanhoe and beg for a job. Loads of opportunity here.

U.S. copper prices are trading at records ahead of the 50% tariff that the president has promised to impose on imports.

I just spent several days in the best big city in North America-Vancouver. First, the Canadians are a kind and unhurried people. The city streets downtown are cleaned every night. It’s a nautical city with harbor and sea vistas. Summer is temperate without mosquitoes. Wow.

Hundreds of thousands of parents visit the @KaiPodCo website to find a microschool near them. In the past 6 months, we’ve added ~250 new schools to our map, making it one of the most comprehensive listings of microschools in the country. Still, many families come to our site

Education entrepreneurship is about more than starting a school—it’s about reimagining what education can be when we trust parents, empower teachers, and unleash innovation.

Brilliant. I wish we would have done this years ago. We will certainly do it now.
In 2018 we interviewed McCallie 6th graders. Now it's time for these same McCallie seniors to answer their childhood questions. In order of appearance: Canon Brock '25 Will Turrell '25 Nkenge Ashford '25 Christian Lawhorn '25 Ward Richey '25 #mccallieschool #graduation

Would you get on board with bringing manufacturing plants and jobs to Maryland. How about bidding for a Boeing plant.
For eight years, during the terms of presidents from both parties and during a global pandemic, we maintained the AAA credit rating Maryland had enjoyed since 1973. https://t.co/VlZON78yrq

We are setting the stage for the revolution.
We’re not in a school choice revolution yet; we’re in a school finance revolution that is the precursor to enable many other forms of innovation to occur. Great sentiment from @Dyrnwyn at the Harvard School Choice conference.
