My area had 2-3 stray dogs a few years back. One day they bit a kid who was playing nearby.The parents called for Municipality to get rid of the dogs but some elder dog lovers came & didn't allow them to take the animals. I believe this is a good step if it is done the right way.
Rajasthan High Court directs municipal bodies to undertake a special drive to remove stray dogs and other animals from city roads. The Court also said that municipal officials can take action, including lodging of FIRs, against those who obstruct public servants.
