This artists’ work is so full of life and vivid energy and totally transports me to those unmatched landscapes of the Northumbria...the journeys on the ‘rollercoaster roads’ as my kids call them

On the Edge was inspired by a view in Yorkshire where I saw a tree clinging on for dear life. There's something about these lone trees in extreme conditions that seems to relate to our tenacity in the face of turbulant times. #yorkshire
