Dan is my friend. He is an overseas nurse in the UK from Kenya. He works in one of the Trusts where a strike is due next year by the @theRCN should the negotiations with @RishiSunak and his government hit another snag. I have just been on the phone with him and Dan is resigning

During his inaugural address in 2019, Zelensky said “I really do not want my pictures in your offices, for the President is not an icon, an idol or a portrait. Hang your kids' photos instead, and look at them each time you are making a decision”.

For those #GenQ types amongst us - I’ve just been through a couple of my assignments with the faculty comments - let me tell you they are gifts that keep on giving. Highly recommend it if you’ve not done it recently @nicholacrust @kendonaldson @ChundaSri @LizWigginsBM

Can't hold back the tears this morning. In another part of the world, - a man is fading away due to #Covid19, he looks 40ish, no beds, no oxygen, sheer panic in his father's face, his brother trying to be his doctor,my heart breaks for them - Thank you @NHSEngland for everything

We had the privilege of having 60 conversations with health leaders about their experiences during the pandemic: here's what we found. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times :

One of the great things about Twitter was that it used to be quite inspirational. The last few months have been really hard work to the point where sometimes I was reluctant to look through my Twitter feed. Wow. What’s differences few days makes. How uplifting is this 👇🏾

True or false? The wrong question, argues @Rob_Briner. The pursuit of definite proof and certainty is a hindrance to evidence-based practice. We need nuance, and should be comfortable with ‘it depends’ as an answer—and then work out what it depends on: https://t.co/ktwUIHcME7

This is old had but there really does seem to be something like a Clarity Paradox in speech. The more a speaker uses the term, the more one suspects they are muddled. "We have been very clear..." "It is absolutely clear..." "Let me be very clear..."
