I just ended my subscription to WaPo. It's a concern to me the owner of the paper may have an agenda that might not be in line with the paper's ability to be objective. I know too well the challenges news media faces, but funding this billionaire seems antithetical to journalism.

What a great getaway with the girls, living in luxury for a couple of days in Galena! We laughed, had cocktails, pampered ourselves, sang songs, hot tubbed outside in -25°F weather, (not for the faint of heart) and even got tarot readings together. We lived it up! Good stuff.💃

People need to remember that journalism isn't free to produce. Demanding that access be free is like going to a Starbucks and getting mad that you have to pay for your coffee. It's a nonsensical and silly thing to demand of media outlets.
Seeing a lot of complaining about Pitchfork putting up a paywall and I totally get it, the number of subscriptions people are asked to pay now is ridiculous. But I don't think people realize that all the stuff you used to read for free is about to go extinct forever w/o subs.

My parents often give me hand-canned goods like pickles, tomatoes, salsa, applesauce, and the like. By far, my major vice is canned jalapenos. They hurt SO MUCH, but dang it, they're so delicious. My tummy is mad at me right now. So is the roof of my mouth. #NoRagrets
