Today marks a milestone I’ve dreaded for 24 years😩. Today, I’ve lived more years w/o my beloved mom than w/ her. She modeled love & resilience. Despite stage 4 gastric cancer, she was back doing the work she loved & enjoyed the foods she craved. Gone too soon. Never forgotten 💔

It’s official. I’ve added #GSI to my bio. 🧀+😂+😁 = Me. Throw in a little 🥴 and you’ve got a pretty accurate description of me 👩🏻⚕️.
I often compare my job to that of a CSI (love the show). Patient = crime scene. Me (CSI) gathers evidence (H&P, labs, imaging, etc). Come up with suspects (differential diagnoses). So. I came up with a new title GSI (Gut Science Investigator). Debate with my hubby:.
