Because of that, medicine must always come from a place of humility - the knowledge we have is often provisional.

This becomes particularly more problematic when we are managing risk - a construct after estimated latencies built on populational data. It is impossible to know for one specific patient what is their risk - we can approximate it(often very well).

This is such as medicine can never achieve an epistheme/apodictic truths, only approximations.
