@JamesTate121 Dearest Mary, I have lost track of the days spent here in the battle of Portland. There's a tense calm. Our supplies cut off, we are reduced to doughnuts and sadly no one is making a fire for coffee. The fear is the smoke from the fire will alert the Portland rebels to our camp.
